This is my cousin Tara, she’s absolutely gorgeous. She was in a car accident a few days ago. They thought things were getting better, but they’re not. Her brain was swelling, but it stopped. It’s not going down though. She can’t stay awake for more then five minutes, and she can’t eat when she is awake so they have her on a feeding tube. She doesn’t respond to any signs anymore when she is awake. I’m not asking you to reblog this, I’m just asking that if you see this, that you pray for her. My family can use as many prayers as possible.

Actually it’s because you are more used to seeing your face in the mirror (reflected). As all faces are slightly asymmetrical it looks different when you see yourself in a photo because your face is unreflected.
Other people always see your face as you see it in photos, so they’re used to it looking that way. This explains why your friends think you look better in photos than you think you do.
